The communication Bureau was emphatic with their press release as they said the Sawla-Tuna – Kalba gain a lot of development under the erstwhile John Mahama administration

The Bureau of the Communication Team of the has appealed to the government to urgently address the poor infrastructure problems in the area.

The appeal comes at a time when President Akuffo Addo is visiting the town on the first day of his two -day tour of the region after its demarcation. Speaking to Yagbon News’ Mr. Kipo Elijah, the Communication Officer of the NDC party said the people are ready to receive the President in the district but their problems need to be resolved.

“The roads are very bad and nothing seems to work in the constituency. Although the government has been touting its achievements since assumption into office, the NDC communication team said they are yet to witness any visible policy executed in the constituency.

They cited a number of infrastructural deficit ranging from poor road networks, inadequate classrooms, uncompleted CHIPS compounds.

The communication Bureau was emphatic with their press release as they said the Sawla-Tuna – Kalba gain a lot of development under the erstwhile administration as in support to farmers, quality health delivery, eradication of a number of schools under trees and grading of most feeder roads in the constituency.

“The constituency now barely rest on the shoulders of our able and energetic Member of Parliament Hon. Andrew Chiwitey Dari the constituency NDC said.”

The had by far touched on every sector of the economy in the constituency ranging from education, agriculture, and Health.

The latest of it all is the donation of an ambulance to St Joseph’s Health Center at Kalba. The MP had earlier in 2018 donated an ambulance with hospital beds and mattresses to the Sawla polyclinic.

The NDC claimed the only party that has the constituency at heart is the National Democratic Congress as the lawmaker is working tirelessly to provide his constituents with portable drinking water of which 10 boreholes have been drilled awaiting commissioning.

The president is expected to be in the constituency on Saturday 18th, 2019 to inspect the construction of the ongoing district hospital which was started by the John Mahama administration.

The NDC Bureau of the Communication team, therefore, wants the president to fulfill his numerous campaign promises as in one district one factory one village one dam, one million per constituency as the district is yet to receive an aorta of their share.
